WHAT IS LIP BLUSH?

Lip blush is a cosmetic tattoo that will enhance the shape and color of your lips! The lip blushing technique gives a very soft, sheer wash of color to the lips. It’s a great way to add definition, correct asymmetry and create fullness!

ABOUT THE PROCESS

When you come in for your initial appointment, we’ll talk about your desired look, color options and expectations. Before any tattooing begins, I shape your lips out - evening them out & creating a Cupid’s bow!

The tattooing itself is relatively comfortable - I apply anesthetics throughout the procedure! This portion rarely takes over 90 minutes.

You’ll want to prepare for the appointment by keeping your lips moisturized. Use a gentle exfoliant a few days before to help exfoliate dry skin.

*If you are prone to cold sores/fever blisters, you will want to take a prescribed anti-viral medication in the days leading up to your appointment & after.*

HYPERPIGMENTED OR DARK LIPS

Lips with scarring, sun damage, very cool colored (strong blue undertones) or that are multi-toned, etc.. may need additional sessions in order to achieve the desired results.

Darker lips will require a neutralization session (and sometimes may require multiple sessions - especially if the target color is pink). The neutralization is a process to blend and even out any darkly pigmented areas on the lip.

PRICING AND SCHEDULING

Initial Appointment - $300, $50 deposit due at the time of booking

Touch Up (scheduled 6-12 weeks after your initial session) - $200

Clients who received neutralizing session are recommended 8 weeks between touch up sessions.
